THE RECOVERY PROJECT

Music for the process of becoming.

A movement rooted in recovery, self-discovery, and the courage to rebuild.

Engineered by Jaeden Leon.

RECOVERY IS A RETURN TO YOURSELF.

In 2021, a car accident interrupted the life I thought I was building. What followed became a process of healing, questioning, and coming back to myself over and over and over again.

The Recovery Project grew out of that process. Through music and creativity, I’m making space for the unfinished parts of life: rediscovering who we are, rebuilding with intention, and growing together.

This is the beginning. You’re invited to grow with it.

THE STORY BEHIND ROOT

ROOT came from a season of feeling like I was running out of time, measuring my life against where I thought I should be and wondering whether I was falling behind.

This song captures that feeling. It's one chapter of a bigger story I'm still learning how to tell.

I hope it reminds you to be present for the person you're becoming, even when you haven't reached the place you're trying to go.

THE RECOVERY PROJECT — MY STORY

In 2021, I was involved in a car accident that changed the direction of my life.

I broke my jaw in three places and broke my knee. What followed was a period of recovery that became about much more than healing physically.

During that time, I started discovering who I was, what I wanted to do, and what I wanted my life to look like.

What began as physical recovery became something much deeper.

A return to myself.

When I think about recovery now, I don't just think about an accident or overcoming something difficult.

I think about returning to the ideas and visions we were given by spirit. Returning to our original state of being.

I believe the ideas and visions we carry are like seeds. Sometimes they sit within us for years, waiting for us to recognize them, water them, and give them the attention they deserve.

Recovery is the process of returning to those things and consistently working to bring them to life.

That's what The Recovery Project represents.

It's bigger than the accident. It's bigger than my music.

It's about how I choose to live my life, how I develop the gifts I've been given, and how I continue becoming who I'm meant to be.

And through this project, I want to create a space where other people can do the same.

This is The Recovery Project.

A return to yourself.
